Description

• Managing the credit control function to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• Monitoring and managing customer credit limits.
• Conducting credit checks on new customers and advising on credit terms.
• Working closely with the sales team to resolve credit-related issues.
• Preparing monthly reports on account receivables and credit control activities.
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to minimise credit risk.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to the credit control team.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and keeping abreast of current trends in the FMCG industry.

Profile

A successful Credit Manager should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a Credit Manager role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of credit-related laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and credit management software.
• A professional qualification in credit management would be advantageous.
