About The Job:
As an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in our client's success by managing a small team of Sales Coordinators and overseeing your own customer portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
🔹 Leading and motivating your team to ensure professional support and guidance.
🔹 Acting as the primary contact for assigned customers.
🔹 Keeping customers updated on order schedules and liaising with Production Management for production efficiency.
🔹 Providing quotes, responding to customer inquiries, and escalating complaints when necessary.
🔹 Facilitating planning and production processes, generating works orders as per customer schedules.
🔹 Monitoring and reporting on potential risks and financial losses.
🔹 Handling sales orders, coordinating logistics, and ensuring high standards of customer care.
Qualifications, Skills, and Education Requirements:
🔸 Experience in managing or supervising a small team.
🔸 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
🔸 Background in a customer-facing role.
🔸 Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
🔸 Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
🔸 Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
Desirable:
🔹 Experience in a manufacturing environment.
🔹 Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
