Introduction
CTS, as a leading Managed Service Provider in the Education sector, is searching for an Education Account Manager to manage and develop an existing set of key accounts.
You will be part of a close-knit and supportive sales team, reporting to the Head of Education Technology.
The position will require travel mainly to the counties surrounding the M25. Travel will be expected to other areas, within reason.
The Role
As Account Manager you will identify and develop any new business opportunities for our CTS managed service provision, supporting clients with their Education Technology and digital strategy.
You may be allocated a number of accounts which range from Primary/Prep Schools through to Further Education Colleges, to develop and strengthen their partnership with CTS, while driving sales forward for these schools.
You will hold timely meetings, on site, with key stakeholders, to ensure that CTS continues to be embedded into the fabric of these schools.
You will assist and work with the schools to develop and enhance their digital strategy and to identify and promote any potential revenue for CTS. This may be through presentations, documentation and professional advice.
Any potential revenue and sales for our Easy4U partner will also be identified.
Clear targets will be given alongside a basic salary and commission structure, dependent on experience.
Experience within the Education Sector either in sales or technical support would be advantageous.
Key Tasks:
Account Management
- Ability to manage key relationships and accounts as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Monitor market conditions and the EdTech space and suggest areas for growth within CTS and to your accounts, maximising revenue opportunities.
- Undertake any training that may be required.
- Pro-actively work with the wider Account Management Team, Technical and Service Delivery Teams on the continual success of your accounts.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer care.
Sales Strategy
- Working independently and with CTS team members , create and execute three-to-five-year strategies for our client accounts to maximise year on year account growth within the company.
- Ensure a consistent drive for Client Retention.
- Identify any upselling opportunities.
- Weekly Sales Reporting to the Head of Education Technology.
- Exceed Gross Profit and Revenue Targets.
- Excellent Numerical Skills.
- Identify potential future accounts and leads and actively work them to secure business.
- Attend and present at various sales events within the education marketplace.
Contract Management
- Excellent knowledge of all CTS services and products and company ethos.
- Manage contract renewal and, working with the Marketing and Communications Director, any tenders related to your client accounts.
- Access to your own car - mileage paid.
- Ability to run client meetings and presentations to a high quality.
- Ability to work both independently as well as contributing to a growing sales team is essential.
Educational Qualifications
Educated to degree level - Desirable.
