We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Sales & Operation team, focusing on specialty water and process chemicals within the Lincolnshire & Humber region. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in account management or sales in a water/process treatment company or industrial plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships, managing contracts, and generating new sales.
Day-to-day of the role:- Engage with customers and prospects to meet sales and service objectives.
- Develop and execute customer account sales plans, coordinating proposal activities from generating quotes to processing purchase orders.
- Manage customer satisfaction and escalate concerns for resolution.
- Coordinate support resources to maintain and grow existing accounts and to win/close new ones.
- Participate in plant visits, audits/surveys, and trials, including conducting water analysis/testing and reporting as required.
- Uphold the integrity of sales/marketing strategies and programs to achieve sales goals within the assigned territory/market.
- Meet or exceed assigned quotas in both activities and results.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and adherence to company strategies and initiatives.
- Technical qualification in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field, or time-served in the industry.
- Proven track record of successful value delivery and selling strategies, winning new accounts, and developing markets.
- Knowledge of specialty water and process chemicals and associated monitoring technologies.
- Enthusiastic and responsible team player with a positive attitude towards product and personal learning.
- A UK driving licence is essential.
