Sales Account Manager

Are you a passionate Sales Account Manager with a knowledge of the capital equipment, hydraulics, material handling or engineering industry and looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Sales Account Manager to work with one of their well-established and very successful. Our client has its head office in Peterborough and are a market leader in design, manufacture and installation of bespoke engineered products and has a diverse and prestigious customer base across the United Kingdom and Europe

Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel. To direct the Field Sales Team, provide leadership and contribute directly in ensuring profitability and growth in line with the company vision and values.

Principle Responsibilities for the Sales Account Manager :-

• Demonstrable track record of sales within the engineering industry
• Proven ability within consultative selling.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of customer relationship management.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts and product lines.
• Maintain and wherever possible increase the Company's sales and profitability consistent with good business practice and the Company's overall business objectives.
• Ensure a continuous improvement in level of knowledge and expertise in relevant industry developments so as to maintain the Company's reputation and position in its field.
• Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, sales and activity reports via the Company’s CRM system.
• Drive and maturity required to lead autonomous function and to deliver key business targets central to the achievement of the Company’s business plan.
• Strong commercial acumen and a consultative and honest approach to securing sales.

Person specification:-

• Proactive approach to Sales and account management
• Must have excellent decision-making skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations head on
• A high level of IT skills, proficient in Microsoft office to include Microsoft Excel
• Be able to prioritise, plan and organise workloads whilst in a busy environment
• Good communication and inter personnel skills
• Team player

This is a full time permanent Sales Manage position, offering an annual salary of £35,000-£40,000 plus commission and car.
