Account Manager / Buying Assistant

We are partnering with a Manchester based retail & fashion company in the appointment of an Account Manager / Buying assistant.

On a growth trajectory, this is a great opportunity to work for a successful business specialising in the ladies footwear sector.

Reporting into the Director, the business is looking for a self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision.

Duties will include:

Account Management:

• Management of sales channels.
• Price Changes based on reports daily.
• New Listings to be uploaded live.
• Communication with Account Managers for respective channels.
• Ability to sell multi-products - women's footwear, handbags/accessories, kids footwear.
• Promo's/social content/trade meetings.

Buying assistant:

• Check competitor new items daily and send a summary email
• Check new in websites and rip images.
• Create and send all sample developments to factories.
• Check short lead time shoes and bags for repeat buys and create list for approval.
• Calculate late shipment penalties.
• Manage samples
• Management of new listing master sheet (price, quantity, key words).
• Conduct fit testing and work closely with the creative team
• Update confirmed prices

YOU:

• Strong administration experience
• Detail orientated
• Previous experience as an Account manager/buying assistant advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of social media channels - TikTokTikTok and Instagram
