We are delighted to announce our partnership with a reputable and well-established client in Attleborough, Norfolk. They are expanding their team and are in search of an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team.
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Mobile – (with circa 1-2 days per week office based as required)
Role Purpose:
To generate and pursue maintenance leads and opportunities, progressing financially viable opportunities through to the securing of customer orders - increasing department revenue/profit.
Role Accountabilities:
- Generating sales and responding to Sales Director.
- Proactively contacting clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Researching relevant organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers in addition to attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing potential new markets.
- Attending conferences and meetings towards improving and generating new leads.
- Developing and producing quotations and proposals.
- Conversion of leads/opportunities to maintenance contracts to meet or exceed targets.
- Attend client site visits, and with Project Manager, Sales KAM and/or Designer as required, to undertake site surveys.
- Accountable for checking/obtaining sign-off with Sales Director / maintenance manager, in accordance with current processes and limits of authority, to ensure the accurate pricing of tenders for work with agreed profit margins, and within operational capability.
- Timely entry into Dynamics system together with communication to Sales Director / maintenance manager, and Finance Team of Leads that are being progressed towards a potential contract.
- Production of reports as required.
- Complete all mandatory assigned training courses within timeframe allocated and
- continually maintain professional knowledge. You are responsible for ensuring that all CSCS cards, similar scheme, or competency cards that you are required to hold are maintained.
- Maintain good communications with clients and colleagues, responding in a timely manner to emails, text messages or phone calls, and ensuring relevant information is passed on quickly. Attend and set up internal meetings as required.
- Quality, Health, Safety, Welfare and the Environment (QHSE). Observe all company QHSE policies, procedures and other instructions and ensure all concerns observed or reported are submitted to the QHSE Compliance department. Notify the office without delay of any incidents, near misses or H&S concerns.
- Experience within Account Management and Sales.
- Driving Licence.
- Able to work and stay away from home and, if necessary, to do so at short notice when needed.
- Able to attain any security clearances required of the role.
