Location: Birmingham (Nr Oldbury)

Salary:  £10.42 ph

Shift: Days, Monday to Thursday

Hours: 09:00am-15:00pm (24hours per week)

Start Date: Immediately

We are hiring a dynamic and dedicated account Receivable & Payable Clerk to join an expanding business in the rapidly growing in the logistics sector. This is a fast-paced environment, and you will be an important part of this team helping to continue the growth of the business. You’ll become a member of a supportive team that works together to create an unbeatable service.

As an Account Receivable & Payable Clerk. you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our client organization. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounts receivable and payable processes within the transport department. This includes invoicing, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Duties of an Account Receivable & Payable Clerk:

· Generate invoices for services rendered to clients.

· Monitor and record all incoming payments accurately.

· Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

· Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and payable.

· Communicate with clients and vendors to address payment inquiries.

· Prepare and distribute regular financial reports.

· Collaborate with other team members to streamline financial processes.

· Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.

Skills and experience of an Account Receivable & Payable Clerk:

· A level or equivalent; a degree in finance or related field is a plus.

· Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the transport industry.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
