ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE TECHNICIAN

REED Accountancy Practice NI are currently recruiting an Accountancy Practice Technician to join our client’s team.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accounting Technician (or qualified by experience) and have experience working in an Accountancy Practice. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the accounts function of the firm, ensuring compliance deadlines are met
• Prepare and finalise audit and accounts to a high standard
• Help ensure the firm complies with all relevant audit and accounting legislative requirements
• Report to and work closely with Managers and Partners
• Assist with the supervision and training of junior staff
• Update records and procedures as required
• Carry out one-off assignments as and when required
• Maintain personal knowledge and skills to enhance the practice’s value.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Accounting Technician (or qualified by experience).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in an Accountancy Practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Competence in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
