Chertsey Permanent £45,000 - £55,000 per year Working for a global group, based in brand new offices This is highly varied role suitable for a CIMA/ACCA studier, or QBE A large business based in modern offices in the Chertsey area, with free parking provided and very easy access via public transport. The Management Accountant role involves: Maintain accurate ledgers, including month-end and year-end calculations and accounting. Balance sheet reconciliations and variance commentary Management of the inventory position within the ledger and coordination of stocktake Payment processes to include Bacs and bank accounts management. Payroll reconciliation and development Compliance reporting including Intrastat and government surveys Supporting international trade processes through collation of relevant data, enabling customs submissions, duty reporting and internal cost apportionment Provide internal and external audit information, liaising with profit centres to coordinate sample requests Gather information on property changes and reflect these within the ledger e.g. leases & rent reviews, adjusting accruals, paying rent invoices on-time and reconciling rates direct debits Creating and maintaining monthly management reports Integration of operational changes into the ledger, processes and reporting Strong systems and Excel capability to improve processes and MI Additional responsibilities as a result of an evolving finance function that meets commercial growth, business change and regulatory developments The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant role will; Have worked in a similar Management Accounting or Financial Accounting role be either part qualified CIMA/ACCA, or Qualified by Experience (QBE) be confident in month end and broader finance processes will have previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (not essential) have intermediate Excel skills (including v look ups, pivot tables, SUM, IF, etc) The Management Accountant role offers a base salary of £45-50,000 + study support, or £55,000 without study support. Bonus of circa 5%
