Accountant

Are you an experienced Finance professional who would be interested in a twelve month contract ? Search Accountancy & Finance are working with a Sussex based SME who are looking for an Accountant for twelve months to cover a period of maternity. As Accountant you will work with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and robust management accounts and financial reports are produced on time along with supporting the wider finance team.
Typical duties of the Accountant will include
Producing sets of management accounts
Ensuring project costings are fully complete
Preparing VAT returns
Reconciling bank accounts
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Supporting the year end audit process
Successful applicants will have recent experience of producing management accounts and financial reports and be happy to support the wider finance team. Construction experience would be beneficial however not essential. Qualified and Qualified by experience candidates will be considered. Hybrid working is available.
