Job duties:

• Working directly for Partners, enhancing the delivery of technical training and supporting trainees.
• Managing a portfolio of clients.
• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Ensuring accounts comply with accounting standards.
• Drafting corporation tax computations, including analysis of items for tax purposes.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and providing a primary point of contact for clients on a daily basis for accountancy and tax queries.
• Submitting accounts to HMRC.
• Dealing with HMRC queries.
• Providing financial analysis and forecast information; including advising of potential issues, trends and improvements.
• Preparation of reports to clients as appropriate.

Other Requirements:

• Management of trainee accountants, who require technical support and review of their work, prior to issue to clients and HMRC.
• Knowledge of IRIS, SAGE, Xero and QuickBooks is required.
• Good communication and written skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail required with the ability to work under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
