Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading Suffolk firm who are looking to make a key appointment at Accounts & Audit Senior Manager level in their Colchester office
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Accounts & Audit Manager or established Senior Manager to make the next step in their career with realistic Director progression.
Taking on responsibility for a significant portfolio of accounts & audit clients SMEs, OMBs from a range of industry sectors
Manage the end to end audit process, including budgets and timescales
Responsible for day-to-day staff planning, ensuring the right level of technically qualified staff are booked on to client work for the appropriate amount of time
Carry out review work on Accounts and other assignments prepared by Managers and team members
Assisting the managers with providing feedback to team members as well as assistance with conducting appraisals
Manage certain corporate clients which fall outside the audit threshold, including those with more complex issues and requiring higher levels of ad-hoc work, i.e. cash flow forecasting, management accounts production
Business development activities and winning work by proactively managing existing clients and targeting new audit and non-audit clients. Involvement in formal and informal pitching procedures
ACA/ CA/ ACCA qualified
Responsible Individual RI Status is an advantage
Up-to-date technical knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS’s, ISAs, Companies Act legislation).
