As an Accounts Assistant, you will be an integral part of our finance team, contributing to the smooth running of key financial ledgers across various companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining the company’s raw materials and finished goods products, including stock profiles and locations.
- Investigating any stock discrepancies
- Reporting any stock issues of material nature to the stock controller
- Downloading invoices from emails, coding for input on SAGE
- Entering Purchase Orders and service invoices on SAGE
- Setting up payment runs for all companies weekly.
- Allocating receipts on bank statements to customer’s accounts
- Chasing unpaid invoices if urgent
- Reconciling bank statements to SAGE
- Support the Finance team in ad-hoc tasks as required.
About you:
- Good excel skills (essential)
- Interest in developing a career in finance (essential)
- Experience gained in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
- Previous experience of using SAGE accounting system (desirable)
