Description
- Providing business and financial administration support to the Finance Director
- Assisting with the end-to-end management of the accounts payable function including inputting invoices into the financial accounting system (Xero)
- Assisting with the management of employee expenses ensuring that these are entered and reimbursed in a timely manner
- Operating the company's project operating system (Harvest) and assisting with timesheet recording for our consultants
- Supporting the accounts receivable process to ensure accurate and efficient income generation
- Input into periodic reporting (financial, management and operational performance)
- Liaising with the HR team in relation to new starters and leavers
- Providing support to the Finance Director and the wider team as required
- Supporting ad hoc finance projects as needed
Profile
A successful 'Accounts Assistant' should have:
- A proven track record in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
