Three Bridges Recruitment are currently working on behalf of an international company with manufacturing plants across the UK. This role would be based at their office in the East of Glasgow. This company are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team with a particular eye for detail and a drive to progress within a large organisation, the role will predominantly focus on Accounts Payable. This is a manufacturing business and any experience in this industry would be beneficial.

Job
The role of Accounts Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Matching, Batching and coding of invoices
- Managing vendor queries in relation to invoices
- Cash book management
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements
- Journal posting (accruals, prepayment, depreciation and intercompany transactions etc.)
- Other tasks and ad hoc duties as required
- Opportunity to assist with month end processes if desired
You
As an Accounts Assistant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Over 3 years’ experience in an accounts payable function
- Minimum AAT Level 3 qualification
- Attention to detail is essential
- Strong understanding of Excel - the interview process will include a test of Pivot Table and VLookup abilities
- Strong communicator
- Good manager of time with ability to work under pressure
