Accounts Assistant (Permanent)

Office-based Mon-Fri. Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm.

Our highly established client is looking to recruit an additional experienced Accounts

professional to join their small Accounts team.

Duties:

• Processing and reconciling Sales & Purchase Ledger.
• Posting journals.
• Preparing statutory accounts.
• Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Managing petty cash transactions.
• Controlling credit and chasing debt.
• Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
• Using Sage and Excel
• Other administration not related to finance.

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience.
• A flexible approach to tasks/work to meet the needs of the business.
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Motivated to do an accurate and thorough job.
• Team player.
• Excellent communication and keyboard skills.
• MS Office proficient
• Experienced in using an accounting system such as Sage.
