Accounts Assistant

Opportunity knocks for an experienced Accounts Assistant professional! Our client is looking for a diligent and highly organised individual to join their Finance team. As the Accounts Assistant for UK & Ireland, you will be playing a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the company.

• Office-based role in Tamworth
• Full management of Accounts Payable
• Working 08:15 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday / 08:00 – 12:30 Friday
• Annual salary of £25,000 - £26,000

The Role:

As the Accounts Assistant for UK & Ireland, your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and logging invoices
• Maintaining and updating the accounts payable ledger
• Generating financial statements and reports for both the UK and Ireland
• Tracking ongoing payments and monitoring company expenditures
• Verifying expense reports and reviewing vendor and service provider agreements
• Negotiating with vendors and service providers to secure discounts
• Ensuring payment credits are applied correctly and corresponding with vendors regarding billing payments

The Candidate:

The ideal Accounts Assistant for UK & Ireland candidate should have:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency with SAP
• Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels

The Package:

The Accounts Assistant for UK & Ireland role comes with an annual salary between £25,000 and £26,000. This role is office-based, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment in Tamworth.
