The Opportunity
We have a new exciting opening within our a dynamic, progressive Accounts Payable team, as an integral part of a rapidly growing business. We are looking for the right candidate and are willing to invest in you!
Experience within an accounts department is not necessary, training for all aspects of the role will be given.

Our office is located in York city centre, after a training and qualifying period there is scope for remote working.
The Role
- Effectively communicate with other departments to resolve issues
- Keeping supplier accounts up to date, checking statements, allocated payments
- Key point of contact for Suppliers and building supplier relationships
- Maintaining the integrity of the purchase ledger
- Managing supplier/customer expectations
- Processing supplier invoices
- Resolving queries efficiently
- Uploading information accurately to match purchase ledger & bill customers correctly
About You
- Ability to plan ahead
- Ability to manipulate data via excel
- Adaptable & Logical thinker
- Previous customer service experience, comfortable communicating on the phone
- Reliable
- Team player, experience in small/medium team
- Uses own initiative
