Job Description
Morgan McKinley is delighted to have exclusively partnered with a growing organisation in Crawley, West Sussex in the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Assistant, with a specific emphasis on Credit Control / debt collection.
Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will support the wider finance team alongside Sales Ledger.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: 9am - 17.30 (office based, Mon-Fri)
Location: Crawley, West Sussex - Parking available on-site
Accounts Assistant - Credit Controller, Responsibilities:
- Maintain sales ledger and records / inbox
- Ensure customer accounts adhere to credit terms and credit limits
- Provide regular sales ledger and aged debtor reports
- Assist with new customer onboarding, including credit checks and references
- Ensure accurate and timely application of customer payments to their accounts
- Support with reconciliations and purchase ledger
Skills & experience:
- Demonstrable Credit Control experience
- Varied skill set with general bookkeeping - sales ledger, purchase ledger
- Good excel skills
