Description
- Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Carrying out general accounting tasks, including reconciliations and month-end processes.
- Process invoices, receipts and payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Providing administrative support to the accounting team.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Proficiency in standard software applications such as Microsoft Excel and Xero is essential
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
