Description
- Production of weekly labour cost report and KPIs for review by FC
- Create all payment runs for release/checking by the FC in the online banking portal, including all supplier payments and weekly wage payment run using reports prepared by external payroll bureau
- Post weekly wage journals based on reports prepared by external payroll bureau
- Bank reconciliations between online banking and ERP system
- Control and reconciliation of petty cash
- Complete monthly invoice discounting facility reconciliation for review by the FC
- Support for accounts receivable, including debit note and other customer / account queries
- Control accounts payable for a small number of foreign suppliers, gaining sign off for invoices, checking prices and matching to the relevant import entry documents (C88)
- Maintain accurate product costs in the ERP system for certain commodities
- Maintain a number of ad hoc finance reports in excel
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A strong background in Finance and / or have studied AAT
- Be able to use Excel
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Understanding of financial legislation, regulation and practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy
