Your new company
Our client is a globally recognised organisation, with a network of sites across both Lancashire and the North West. This organisation is now looking for an experienced account assistant to join their finance team at their head offices in Lancashire. The role is available due to the organisation's acquisition of new businesses.
Your new role
In your new role, you will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for supporting the transactions exam in the daily accounting tasks. As an Accounts Assistant, you will process over 200+ invoices per week and ensure they correspond to the correct purchase order and chase any outstanding payments to their existing customers. Alongside this, you will assist the finance team with all month-end duties such as balance sheets, cashbook reconciliation, accruals and prepayments.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience and hold previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar position. It is essential you have experience with systems such as SAGE and also have the ability to use Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level, including V lookups.
