SalaryHandle Recruitment are working alongside an amazing music management company in recruiting an Accounts Assistant to work in their team. Working in a fast-paced environment, this is a broad role reporting to and supporting the finance team. You will be joining a growing team at an exciting time for the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Tracking artists spend and revenue for post month end review
- Posting sales invoices
- Chasing overdue debts
- Regular reconciliation of customer accounts
- Perform data entry and maintain financial records in the company's accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
- Opportunity to support the production team
- Assist with ad hoc financial and business analysis
- Assisting with year-end audit and royalty runs
Desired skills:
- Able to demonstrate experience of working in a Finance department to tight deadlines in a busy working environment
- Intermediate Excel is essential
- Experience with datasets is desirable but not essential
- Experience of Oracle NetSuite is desirable, but more importantly will be a demonstrable ability to learn and adapt to new software packages
- Good grasp of general accounting procedures
- Experience of liaising with staff outside of the finance team, at all levels, to resolve issues and effectively relay information
- Experience of stock is desirable but not essential

The ideal candidate must have had some experience in working within a finance function and office environment. Computer literacy should include an excellent working knowledge of Excel.
