HRGO Recruitment are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients leading law firm in Battle. The successful candidate will be required to assist with postings on Legal Cashier software, set up bank transfers and completing reconciliations.
This role would suit any candidates with previous accounts assistance or Legal cashier experience.
General Duties:
- Processing client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently
- Reconciling bank statements and maintaining financial records
- Handling client funds in accordance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
- Processing payments to third parties, including HMRC, Land Registry, and other legal entities
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Collaborating with solicitors, conveyancers, and other team members to ensure smooth financial operations
- Monitoring and managing client ledgers and ensuring compliance with money regulations
- Assisting with audits and compliance checks as required
Role requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience working in a legal environment (preferred not required)
- General Accounts Assistance experience
