Accounts Assistant - Senior Sales Ledger Assistant

We're excited to offer an exclusive opportunity with our client, located just outside Crick. They are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger professional to take ownership of the Sales Ledger and provide valuable support to the Management Accountant.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately posting received payments.
• Taking responsibility for maintaining the Sales Ledger.
• Addressing invoice queries and issuing credit notes as needed.
• Monitoring and managing the accounts inbox efficiently.
• Diligently undertaking credit control duties.
• Preparing debtor reports and conducting cash flow analysis.
• Assisting in preparing VAT returns and Intrastat reporting.
• Contributing to year-end reporting processes.
• Providing assistance with ad-hoc projects as required.

The Ideal candidate will have proven Sales Ledger and credit control expertise, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining a calm, professional demeanour.

The role is office based and within commutable distance of Daventry, Rugby, Southam, Long Buckby, Lutterworth, Northampton and Crick.

Remuneration

• £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• 25 days holiday plus statutory days
• Pension
• Working hours 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunchbreak.
