A well-known and established Chartered Accountancy practice in Dundee is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Accountant to join their close-knit team. Nicholas Hendry has partnered exclusively with them to fill this exciting vacancy.

In this role, you'll be a key player, managing a portfolio of clients where you’ll be responsible for building & developing relationships with your clients and supporting their businesses with the production, preparation, and completion of statutory accounts & financial statements.

This is a varied role, and the duties will also include:

• Preparation of year end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Preparing self-assessment tax returns
• Preparation of VAT and Corporation tax returns
• Building & Developing relationships with clients
• Ad-hoc Bookkeeping duties as required.

This is a fantastic opportunity that will really suit an individual who is either nearly qualified, qualified by experience or training for their ACCA or CA qualification, that also has relevant practice experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a practice firm with a broad range of exposure to clients across various industry sectors.
