Accounts & Audit Senior

NXTGEN is partnering with a thriving Chartered Accountants based in Bury St Edmunds, who have experienced organic and successful growth over the last 2 years. Due to the firm continuing to grow, this is a fantastic time to join their newly created Accounts & Audit Team in their Bury office. Due to their recent success of their other office, they're now looking at passing and spreading workload, whilst they continue to build their reputation in the Suffolk market. They're looking for either an experienced individual who is looking to move out of a pure Audit role into a hybrid Accounts position or someone ready to step up to Senior who has got some experience in both Accounts & Audit.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and prepare Accounts for a range of different clients.Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and deadlines.Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.Provide insightful recommendations to clients for process improvements and risk mitigation.Develop and maintain strong client relationships with new and existing clients.Experience increased exposure to complex and niche clients.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.Qualifications:
You should either be a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) having either just newly qualified/ gained some post qualification experience, or due to finish shortly. Proven experience in leading Accounts & Audit engagements within a reputable accounting firm.Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.Strong analytical and problem–solving skills.If you'd like to know more on this opportunity and what it could mean for your career, please get in contact with Annie to find out more.
