SalaryCMA are partnering with an Engineering SME who are seen as market leaders in their field to recruit an Accounts Manager on a permanent basis. The role is newly created due to the continued growth of the business and will join a small team based in Portsmouth. This role will be the main point of contact for finance and will develop into a Financial Controller role in time.
What will the Accounts Manager role involve?
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, cash flow and P+L;
- Purchase ledger including processing, coding and matching of invoices;
- Monthly supplier payment run;
- Adhoc payments;
- Sales ledger;
- Bank reconciliation;
- Quarterly VAT returns;
- Assisting with payroll;
- Adhoc duties as required by the wider team.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Manager vacancy:
- Minimum of 2 year s experience working within finance, ideally as an Assistant Accountant or Accounts Assistant;
- Studying towards AAT or equivalent;
- Comfortable with working in an SME environment;
- Experience of Quickbooks would be advantageous but not essential.

- 7.30am 4.30pm hours with a 1pm finish on a Friday;
