Accounts Manager / Credit Controller

Salary: Circa £30k pa + bonus
Location: Llangennech near Llanelli
Hours: Full time Mon – Fri 9am - 5pm
Duration: Perm
Our client is a provider of telecommunication & IT who urgently require an Accounts Manager/Credit Controller to be based at their office near Llangennech. The employer is based in South Wales has a Europe wide reach and a reputation for innovative services and excellent customer care. They have over 30 years’ experience in the telecommunication sector and partner with the biggest names in the industry to create bespoke solutions for our business customers.
The successful candidate will raise, send and pay invoices, reconciling company accounts on sage and chasing late payments. You will also assist with basic administration tasks and should be on hand to answer any queries raised by staff or external clients or providers. You will be expected to help document and maintain the business’ finance procedures, updating and implementing them wherever necessary.
Responsibilities:
* Sales and Purchase Ledger - Invoice processing, Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers, Raising sales invoices.
* Credit Control
* Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
* Project Financial Tracking and Reporting
* Excel/Microsoft 365
* Use of Sage 50
* Direct Debit Collection and Maintenance
* Cashflow Forecasting and Budgeting
* Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing, archiving and printing
* Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records and creating new customer accounts
* Building a good rapport with clients and providing management with relevant information
* Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers
* Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
Requirements
* Good understanding of Sage 50
* Previous Sales and Purchase Ledger experience
* Excellent time management skills
* High level of accuracy
* Analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills
