THE ROLE
This role is within the Accounts Payable Department in Finance.
Reporting to: Accounts Payable Manager
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for multiple business entities
- Inputting various database invoices, coding, checking tax compliancy and making sure the invoice is being billed to the correct entity
- Assisting with Period End reconciliation of 10 Databases to the Trial Balance
- Liaising with the business to ensure timely approval of invoices & efficient payment of suppliers taking into consideration terms.
- Responsible for all direct debit / ACH accounts, entering payments, allocating, reconciling & chasing missing invoices
- Coding & entering invoices for rent & rates, arranging quarterly rent payments and setting up Direct Debit /ACH Mandates.
- Assisting with PO matching & associated queries
- Overseeing daily multi-currency payment proposals & Ad Hoc Payments
- New supplier creation in Dynamics AX
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Daily management of Accounts Payable e-mail in box
- Directly responsible for designated key suppliers
- Dealing with internal and external queries with a timely resolution
- Assist the Accounts Payable Manager with any other ad hoc projects as required.
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
- Experience in a Accounts Payable role
- Excellent numeracy and Excel skills
- Previous experience of Dynamics AX an advantage
- Foreign Language speaker would be an advantage (e.g.French, German, Spanish, Portuguese).
