An Accounts Payable Assistant is needed for a 2-3 month temporary role in High Wycombe.
The role is hybrid - 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.
The duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant will include:
- Understands invoice process flows from order to supplier payments.

- Requires analytical skill to assess automated workflows, carries out investigative work for any queries where issues occur.
- Manages all queries through to resolution.
- Understands Purchase to Pay - 3 way match.

- Be the first point of contact for query resolution, where appropriate
- Deal with customers (telephone, face to face and via email)
- Prompt response to enquiries
- Handle and resolve queries and complaints
- Refer any unrelated/unresolved queries to right resource in a timely manner
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and / or external customers
- Build strong relationships
- Knowledge of customer service practice and principles
- Support and share knowledge with colleagues
- Provide general operational support within the team to enhance financial controls.

- Ability to forecast, utilises knowledge of vendor terms & coordination of all accounts input/output.

The ideal Accounts Payable Assistant will:
- Have knowledge of AP process (at least 1 year transactional level)
- Have good excel skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Communicating with Impact
- Be a Team Player
- Demonstrate great customer service awareness
