SalaryCatalent Pharma Solutions are currently seeking to recruit a Lead Accounts Payable Analyst to join the Accounts Payable Department.
The Lead AP Analyst will be responsible for managing the processing and reviewing of all global transactions between the company and its suppliers, ensuring all outstanding invoices from suppliers are approved, processed, and paid.
As the Lead AP Analyst, you will act as a senior member of the AP operational processing team to ensure the timely and compliant payment to suppliers.
The Role
Act as a senior member of the AP operational processing team to ensure the timely and compliant payment to suppliers.
Ensure timely and compliant processing of supplier invoices and achievement of AP service centre KPIs to include matching, correcting, indexing, and coding invoices.
Direct daily workload for AP Operation staff responsible for processing invoices.
Be the first point of escalation of more complex invoice processing queries.
Develop relationships with sites in scope of the FSSC and build positive working atmosphere Work with internal and external parties to ensure expectations are met, including leading of team calls with sites, and ensuring needs and inquiries of site teams are addressed.
Manage payment controls and ensure all supplier payments are accurate and comply with various company policies
Comply with discount process to ensure Catalent receives full value of all supplier discounts earned
Work with external agencies/suppliers to ensure that internal process needs, and customer expectations are met.
The Candidate
Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths & English
Previous AP experience, with some experience of coaching/training less experienced team members
Ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to have difficult conversations and deal with in-depth queries with tact and diplomacy
Strong organizational skills
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AP software
