Accounts Payable Manager

Description

The Accounts Payable Manager will report directly to the Financial Controller. Duties of the Accounts Payable Manager include but are not limited to:

• Leading the Payments Team and working with key stakeholders to deliver an excellent payments service
• Identifying training requirements within the team
• Being responsible for ensuring that vendor invoices and payments are paid on time and are compliant
• Ensure team daily, weekly and monthly tasks are clearly set out to ensure processing backlogs are for current invoices/ payments
• Ensuring the month end and year end financial close responsibilities are completed

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have demonstrated experience working in Accounts Payable
• Have experience using Accounting systems
• Have experience coaching and mentoring a team for high performance
• Have good excellent excel skills
• Have excellent organisational and problem solving skills
• Have an ability to interpret high volumes of transactional data

Job Offer

The successful candidate can expect a salary between GBP28-35,000 + an immediate start + hybrid, flexible working opportunities + 25 days annual leave pro rated + other voluntary benefits
