Description
Accounts Payable Manager:
- Supervise the Accounts Payable function to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Maintain and analyse accounts, prepare financial reports, and manage vendor relations.
- Implement and enforce AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team.
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of systems for increasing efficiency.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable principles and procedures.
