Accounts Receivable Assistant – IMMEDIATE START

Temporary 3-6 months+
Seeking Accounts receivable Assistant to join a national company based outside Cheltenham. This is initially for 3-6 months with potential to become permanent and would suit an experienced credit controller/accounts/ finance professional.
Responsibilities:
Processing sales invoices and allocating paymentsResponsible for processing sales invoices accurately in line with the scheduleRaise credit notes and update ledgersMaintain accurate records of all the Accounts Receivable transactionsCommunicate with other departments for updates and resolve potential billing issuesFiling of all monthly invoices/applications and cash receiptsAny adhoc duties as required.
The Person
Previous experience within an Accounts Receivable or relevant finance position,An enthusiastic approach to workBe AAT qualified or qualified by experienceExperience with accounting systems with proficiency in MS ExcelExcellent numerical abilityMeticulous attention to detailStrong communication skillsGood organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
