Accounts Receivable Specialist

Do you have experience working in a busy transactional role within a shared service environment? If so, we may have just the role for you! 6 month fixed term contract on offer. Hybrid work, based in Stevenage.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a client of ours, based in Stevenage on a 6-month fixed term contract, covering a maternity leave.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist would be to:
- Process sales ledger invoices and raise credit notes
- Allocate incoming cash to the correct account
- Deal with queries both internally and externally
- Analyse unallocated cash, producing reports and investigating anomalies
- Produce statements

This is a busy role with high volumes, sitting within their shared service centre in Stevenage so experience within a similar role or environment would be very advantageous.

This role offers hybrid work, with 2 days per week in the office and 3 from home.

The salary on offer is £27,000

The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy transactional capacity on either Sales Ledger or Purchase Ledger ideally within shared services
