The Client:
Our client is a reputable accountancy firm, specialising in professional bookkeeping, tax, payroll, and VAT services.
The Role:
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in preparing accounts for various entities including sole traders, limited companies, partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Managing and preparing management accounts.Filing tax returns (self-assessment, Corporation Tax).Handling VAT returns.Assisting clients and supporting senior partner reporting.Mentoring junior members of staff.
Requirements:
Previously worked as a Junior Accountant, Semi-Senior Accountant or in a similar role.Minimum 3 years' practice experience.Possess GCSE or equivalent qualification.Skilled in MS Office, and accounting software (e.g., Iris, Kashflow, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
