Accounts Semi-Senior

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join a well-established, growing & ambitious Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Kent.

They are a highly respected accountancy firm who have been established for over 35 years.

They are a forward thinking and pro-active firm who communicates with clarity and objectivity and they are committed to adding value to their clients.

The Role and Responsibilities

Work closely with Senior Accountants on;

• Preparation of year end accounts
• Management accounts
• Bookkeeping
• VAT returns
• Ensure all deadlines and budgets are met
• Act as a point of contact within the firm for client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintaining regular contact with clients
• You will be expected to be able to write professional letters, emails, reports and other written submissions for review
• Keep up to date with all technical developments to ensure continued excellent services with the clients

Essential Skills

• 2 years Chartered Accountancy Practice experience (in a UK Practice)
• AAT/ACCA/ACA part qualified
• Excellent communication skills
• Xero software experience (Also use Sage & Quick Books)
• Keen to learn & progress your career

What’s on offer

• Salary: £25,000 - £38,000 DOE

• Contract type: Full Time / Permanent

• Hours: Monday-Thursday: 9am-5:30pm & Friday 9am-4:30pm
