Accounts Senior - leading Independent Firm of Accountants

Accounts Senior Sheffield £30,000 to £38,000 (negotiable dependent on experience)
CRA Financial are currently working with a leading Firm of chartered accountants in Sheffield who are looking for an experienced individual to join their team. Ideal for an individual who has recently qualified ACA or ACCA and is looking for their next step.
The Role
Working in this well-established accountancy practice and reporting directly to the Partner, you will be responsible for
* Management of a portfolio of client mainly limited companies within the local area.
* Preparation of financial statements, corporation tax returns, VAT returns as well as audit work
* Preparation of draft corporation tax computations for companies
* Preparation of management accounts for several companies liaising with director's on a monthly basis.
* Preparation of VAT returns for clients
* Liaising and giving ad hoc advice to clients as and when required
This is a really varied role with exposure to a variety of clients particularly limited companies. Individuals will have a proven track record of working in an accountancy practice and be looking to join a well established firm. There is potential to progress for the right individual so if you are frustrated by lack of clear progression this role could be for you. Applications are welcomed from individuals who have recently finished professional qualifications (ACCA or ACCA) or are in the final stages of exams and would like to join a firm who can support and develop them. You will ideally have a mixed experience with some exposure to audit although this is not essential if you have strong accounts production experience. Salary is negotiable for the right individual.
