Our client is an expanding firm that is now seeking a driven individual that’s committed to maintaining their exceptional service standards, and contributing to the maintenance of their excellent reputation in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Portfolio Management - Handle a ‘general practice’ portfolio of clients, ensuring client-facing interactions and covering a range of statutory accounts (FRS102(1a), FRS105, and FRS102) and corporation tax for limited companies.
- SME Business Management - Manage regular work associated with SME businesses, including shareholder/director areas such as benefits in kind, director’s loans, dividend planning/income extraction, and pension planning.
- Tax and Compliance - Provide support with VAT, P11Ds, LLP accounts and tax, personal tax, trust accounts, and charity and pension accounts.
- Complex Task Execution - Participate in more complex tasks, working closely with the Senior Manager and occasionally reporting directly to the Partner.
- Team Development - Train and develop two junior team members, reviewing their work before submission to Partner/client.
Is this the role for you?
To be the ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Ideally with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a UK-based practice
- Able to manage a portfolio of clients
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with online computer software. I.e. Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
- Hold either a AAT, ACA, ACCA, or can even be QBE
- Demonstrating proficiency in client management and team support
- Will need to have experience in year-end accounts preparation
