The Welton Group are looking for an Accounts / Book keeping assistant to join a small and friendly team. This role will require a high level of accuracy, an understanding of sales/purchase ledgers, tax responsibilities, payroll and management accounts.
The ideal candidate would have previously used Sage 50 account and Payroll
Salary criteria is dependant on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Bank payments and reconciliations
- Payroll
- Monthly Management accounts
- Tax (PAYE, Corporation tax, VAT etc) responsibilities
- Credit Control
- Sales & Purchase Ledger
- Multiple companies with intercompany transactions
Essential:
- Good level of Excel skill
- Numerate with a passion for accuracy whilst working to tight timescales
- Meticulous and self-organised with an ability to prioritise
- Excellent attention to detail
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of Sage 50
- Experience within a financial transactional process such as month end close, AP and balance sheet reconciliations, tax responsibilities and payroll
