We'd like you to join us as an Activity Co-ordinator at our Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, located in Hucknall on the outskirts of Nottingham.
We specialise in the treatment, care and support of individuals with physical and cognitive impairments as a result of brain injury or other progressive neurological condition.
Our Nottingham Centre is based in Hucknall, Nottingham. The service has 59 beds split across 3 individual floors that all care and support individuals with physical and cognitive impairments as a result of a brain injury or other progressive neurological condition. The centre has a Physiotherapy Gym, Therapy Kitchens, Activities Room, Sensory Room & Minibus for those all-important outings and appointments.

What you'll be working:

• Full Time- 37.5 Hours
• Working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and implement individualized activity plans for residents based on their needs, interests, and abilities.
• Coordinate and lead group activities, including arts and crafts, music therapy, recreational outings, and physical exercises.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to incorporate therapeutic goals into activity plans.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress in recreational activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during all activities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices in recreational therapy and brain injury rehabilitation.
