Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator (one mha community coordinator) based at Hampton Lodge and MHA Communities Southampton
Available Hours:
2 x Permanent – Part time - 20 hours per week
2 x Permanent – Part time - 20 hours per week
Requires weekend work split across two positions on a 7-day rota.
MHA have a unique opportunity to work within your local community to support older people to live later life well by increasing their social inclusion and wellbeing. Therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Southampton.
We are developing a new delivery model in Southampton where you can see 3 of our services combining their knowledge, resource and passion to create one collaborative community that continues to expand the offer and support we can provide to those living both in the local community and our care home. With a strong focus on the delivery of a varied and structured activity and lifestyle engagement programme within the care home, including joint sessions and outings with other local residents and members.
This position requires you to work predominantly in Hampton Lodge care home but also with the local community, building networks and engaging with other organisations, you will therefore require strong communication and organisation skills.
Confidence working on different digital platforms will set you aside from other applicants due to our ever-developing online services used to increase our reach and variation.
The post holders will also be responsible for supporting and coordinating a team of volunteers locally, who support at sessions and in the wider community to help us achieve our mission.
