The Luckiest Girl Alive is a sensitive and inspiring story. Using puppetry it tells the life of activist, campaigner and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) survivor Hoda Ali in her epic journey across the globe as her family sought medical care from the dangerous effects of FGM.

Fee & Expenses
The role will be paid £180 per rehearsal day and £220 per performance day.
Per diems, travel and accommodation will be negotiated as required.
Key Dates
The role will involve 2 weeks (10 days) rehearsal in Nottingham, plus 3 performances in Nottingham, Derby and London.
- Rehearsals: 5th - 19th June (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) at the Nottingham Playhouse, Nottingham, NG1 4AF.
- Opening Show: Thursday 20th June at New Art Exchange, NG7 6BE.
- Second Show: Thursday 11th July at Derby Theatre, as part of Departure Lounge Festival.
- Third Show: The date of the London show is TBC. Please let us know in your application the dates you are unavailable in June and July.
