Performers/Actors

We are looking for Performers/Actors with good to strong movement skills for a performance piece during the "Journey of Flavour" tour at our client's prestigious premises in Edinburgh.
Your Time at Work
The performance is a 12-minute show that happens during the tour that tells the story of our client's humble beginning as a Grocery store to a world-leading brand. The performer requires high movement skills as they will be performing on 2 travellator moving floors that at points travel in 2 different directions at the same time. The performer will be expected to be able to move on the travelator whilst still delivering the script to the audience that also is a timed performance. The piece uses state of the art projection technology and interactive set pieces and props to create as truly immersive theatre experience. Performers/Actors will be expected to perform the 12-minute show between 3 to 10 times a day depending on demand of visitors. There is always a minimum of 2 performers at any point in a day to support each other and in between performances they will also be required to support the main lobby/ticketing area for welcoming and ticketing duties. They will be working with our client's experience/performance team during the training process and ongoing rehearsal and show checks.

Key Information and Benefits
This is a temporary ongoing role
Full-time and part-time basis available.
The shift starts between 11:00 am and 9:00 pm (Flexibility is required).
The pay rate is £12 per hour.
