Job description

Are you a qualified (or part-qualified) pensions actuary, seeking to make your mark within a leading consultancy? 

Then this is an exciting opportunity to provide a high-quality service to clients in the field of actuarial and wider benefit consulting in relation to clients’ employee benefits schemes.

With a focus is on UK defined benefit pension schemes, you will work with both Trustee Boards and Sponsoring Employers.

Understanding client needs to provide solutions and develop client accounts, you will undertake project work or act as champion for new service initiatives.

You will also pitch for new business while having an active participation in internal forums to provide input into the strategic direction of the firm.

To be successful in the role, you will have a good understanding of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes, including all aspects of the Pensions Act 1995, disclosure requirements and statutory reporting requirements.

You will also have some broader experience in areas such as: corporate transactions; risk transfer; liability management exercises; pensions aspects of sale agreements; or dealing with the practical aspects of bulk transfers.

Scheme Actuary certificate not required.
