Working in a dynamic, values led organisation, this role is for those who are passionate about development and innovation, within a lively college community.
We offer a range of benefits, including health and wellbeing support, flexible working, discounts on travel, parking and gym memberships through our exciting Benefits Platform, Green Car Scheme, Medicash, personal development opportunities and attractive pension schemes.
Who you are
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, tenacious and organised individual to help co-ordinate the delivery of Additional Learning Support for Apprentices and other learners within the Department. You will be an excellent communicator with experience of delivering CPD and supporting staff to support students. A SEND background is essential and knowledge of apprenticeship provision, including Learning Support funding arrangements will be key to this role.

Working alongside an existing post-holder, you will make a significant contribution to an ongoing programme of CPD to ensure staff are appropriately skilled and equipped to provide high quality Learning Support. You will ensure that robust mechanisms relating to Learning Support funding for apprentices are in place and that the quality of Learning Support for apprentices is outstanding.
The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Employees will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive checking process including references from current and previous employers, health, right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list.
