Petroc is a highly successful institution, delivering education and skills training in Devon and beyond and has an exciting opportunity for Additional Learning and Support English and Maths Intervention Tutors.
The main function of this role is work within timetabled classes for English and Maths to provide targeted intervention to learners studying GCSE or Functional Skills in Maths and English. This position would work in small groups and 1:1 with leaners who require English and Maths intervention to prevent them from being disadvantaged by a learning or support need.
The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable experience in delivering Learning Support in literacy and numeracy; will have achieved GCSE English and Maths to at least grade 4 (or equivalent); and should have an appropriate teacher qualification or be willing to work towards achieving it.
There are various roles offering hours between 10 and 16 per week x 30 weeks, Term Time Only.
