Admin roles

TeacherActive are seeking admin assistants to work in both our primary and secondary schools within Derbyshire.

You do not need to have specific School experience, but it would be advantageous. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated with a friendly yet professional telephone manner.
These positions are an excellent opportunity to get experience working within a School if you haven't already and will give you the skills to move into a SIMS Administrator post.

There will be full time and part time positions available throughout the School year which run for a variety amount of time.
As an admin assistant your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Welcoming students, guests and parents into the school
• Ensuring safeguarding processes are followed
• Answering telephone calls and filtering as necessary
• Responding to emails
• Letters to parents
• Typing of letters and memo
• Filing, faxing and photocopying
• Front of house, dealing with parents and pupils

You must be:

• Proactive
• Hardworking
• Not afraid to take on new tasks
• Able to multitask
• Outgoing and have a friendly personality
